Mc'y d's Jp!

Heya Heya
So mc Donald's in Japan does things very differently, from the menu to the service. A very welcoming change for the American that grew up on this stuff and pretty tired with their menu if you ask me!

Today I have the sankaku pie, blueberry and cream cheese filling. Sankaku just means triangular, but I didn't know that when I actually bought the thing ha

First bite is mostly pastry, oh but what a flakey and butter pastry it is! 3 bites in and you get a warm cream cheese and blueberry melty mix that will def put a smile your face. I'm loving this guy for sure, for 120 yen (1.50$) it's a winner. They also carry a deep fried apple pie as well, but another blog another time. Check the pics!

Mahi from Outback Steakhouse

I ordered the "new" mahi dish from Outback Steakhouse recently. As listed in the menu, it was low fat, wood fired and under 500 calories, so I decided to give it a shot.

I don't usually go for the seafood dishes at a chain steakhouse, but I happened to enjoy their new mahi dish, which came with steamed mixed vegetables.

The mahi was cooked nicely and had pretty good flavor. But what I enjoyed the most was that it was a light dish and I did not feel bloated or full after eating.

If you're into seafood, or just want to try a new dish, try Outback's Hearts of Gold Mahi dish.

Yup, Mexican again.

Mexican resaturant, "Burrito Loco" in Commak is what I decided to have for dinner on this extremely brisk Friday evening.

I decided to go for their shrimp rice bowl, which included plenty of shrimp, rice, peppers, tomatoes, onions, and jack cheese melted on top.

The jack cheese makes it a slightly heavier dish. Overall, the dish isn't too fattening and very tasty.

I highly recommend this Mexican establishment. Located off Commack Road in the Meat Farms shopping center.
